Sabic is one of the new generation of non-Western companies becoming a major force in the global economy. Though not yet universally known, they are the third largest chemical company in the world. To propel Sabic to the mainstream we created a new global film and print campaign to communicate their role as the world's collaborator in solving pressing challenges from food supply to urbanisation.
Creatively the challenge was to make an engaging film that avoided the industry cliché of scientists in lab coats. We wrote a script about the construction of a playhouse - The idea being the children of today dealing with the challenges of the future by establishing a comparison between two approaches - A child working on a project on his own while others work together to create something wholly more substantial.
We enlisted the 'award winning'CANADA films to help create our vision, directed by Miguel Campaña with a set build from Hollywood Art director Mike Berg ('District 9') the TV spot ran in 17 countries with over 100 media partners.
